Dr. Anastasia Breidenbaugh joins MAVH!

Dr. Breidenbaugh grew up loving the outdoors, animals, and science and she was certain she wanted to be a veterinarian after shadowing at a veterinary hospital in high school and volunteering at a wildlife refuge.

She graduated from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY. She enjjoyed her time in chilly Ithaca, but looks forward to being back home in Maryland!

She is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, and has developed a special interest in dentistry, surgery, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Her goal is to provide pets and pet owners with the best quality of life together and to facilitate end-of-life care for their furry family members.

In her free time Dr. Breidenbaugh enjoys spending time with her husband, Danny, and two cats, Gemma and Luna. She also enjoys outdoor activities like camping and hiking, reading a good book, participating in a variety of performing arts, and playing board games.
